Landlord – Tenant Law
Solutions for leases and board hearings.
The contractual relationship between landlord and tenant, in a residential context is governed by the Residential Tenancies Act 2018. If disagreements arise both the tenant and the landlord have the right to bring their dispute to the Residential Tenancies Board. Mac-Law has experience bringing matters before the Board, for both landlords and tenants, and has fought successfully for the rights of each.
Commercial Leases
A commercial lease is a legally binding contract made between a landlord and a business tenant. The lease gives a tenant the right to use certain property for a business or commercial activity for a period of time in exchange for money paid to the landlord. Additionally, the lease outlines the rights and responsibilities of both the landlord and tenant during the lease term. Should, either the tenant or landlord, ‘break the lease’ problems are sure to follow.
At Mac-Law we can draft Commercial Leases, represent one of the parties, act as Mediator to avoid a Trial, etc. in order to bring the best result for our client.
